A timeless bridal tradition in warm antique 22K gold-tone — the Gold Zari Baby Paranda is a beautifully handcrafted traditional South Asian hair braid accessory featuring a rich multi-strand herringbone twisted zari cord body with an ornate 3-strand filigree tassel cluster. The perfect finishing touch for bridal, mehndi, barat, Eid and all festive occasions.
The body is a multi-strand twisted rope braid of 3 to 4 thick twisted/braided gold zari/thread cords twisted together in a continuous herringbone/fishbone braid pattern; each cord approximately 8 to 10mm diameter; full length approximately 40 to 50cm coiled; rich tactile 3D woven texture throughout in warm antique gold. The ornate decorative tassel cluster at one end features 3 separate tassel strands each with a small gold bead ball finial at top; a string of 5 to 6 small round gold ball beads; a large faceted/diamond-cut bicone/rhombus bead of approximately 18 to 20mm; a small round gold ball bead; and a large open filigree cone/jhumka cap of approximately 20mm diameter with intricate mesh/lattice filigree pattern and small gold tip at bottom; total tassel length approximately 8 to 10cm each. Warm antique gold-tone throughout; matte zari thread body; bright polished gold on bead and filigree elements.
