A fully handcrafted octagonal metal minaudère of approximately 16 by 16cm in antique 22K gold frame — front face in dense shisha/mirror-work tile embellishment with ruby oval cabochon corner stones, pearl tassel fringe and kundan leaf center medallion; reverse face in deep burgundy/maroon seed bead embroidery with kundan leaf spray motif and gold coin accents; and a long pearl-station gold chain of approximately 90 to 110cm cross-body length.
The front face carries a dense grid of square silver mirror-work/shisha tiles of approximately 5 by 5mm each covering the full octagonal front field in maximum mirror mosaic brilliance — the silver mirror tiles creating the classic Mughal shisha mirror-work of the great imperial textile and metal craft traditions. At the 4 cardinal corner positions of the octagonal gold milgrain/rope border frame, 4 deep ruby red oval cabochon stones of approximately 12 by 9mm each blazes in antique gold collet settings as the corner accent stones. At the center of the mirror-tile field, a large oval blush/rose shell/mother-of-pearl cabochon of approximately 4 by 3cm sits surrounded by a ring of white kundan/mirror leaf petals in the classic Mughal central medallion construction. A fine blush/rose crystal micro-border frames the inner mirror-tile field, and a fan-shaped white pearl/seed bead tassel fringe hangs from the bottom center as the base accent. The reverse face carries dense deep burgundy/maroon seed bead embroidery covering the full back octagonal field, with a white kundan leaf spray/peacock motif and large faceted clear crystal/CZ center stone, and 2 to 3 small antique gold coin/disc embellishments in the bead field.
