A large 3D spherical/orb pendant of approximately 20 to 22mm diameter — full surface covered in intricate gold filigree wire-work in a geometric/arabesque lattice pattern of overlapping circular medallion motifs — suspended from a decorative crown/canopy bail with upward-pointing gold leaf finials, on a slim gold cable chain of approximately 42 to 46cm collarbone length.
The spherical filigree orb pendant carries its full surface in intricate openwork gold wire filigree: overlapping circular medallion motifs in a repeating arabesque lattice arrangement across the complete sphere, the gold filigree wire-work creating a three-dimensional openwork lattice that reveals the hollow interior through the gold wire gaps in the manner of the finest Mughal and Ottoman goldsmith filigree craft of the imperial ateliers. The decorative bail above the orb carries a small crown/canopy top with 2 to 3 small upward-pointing gold leaf/petal finials flanking the center — the crowned canopy bail of maximum Mughal-miniature architectural ornamental detail.
