The wide choker necklace is the heart of the set: a collar/choker of approximately 4 to 5cm width in a two-row tiered bib construction that sits close and commanding at the throat. The upper row carries the largest hand-carved amethyst purple polki stones — 6 to 8 freeform organic-shaped flat-back carved cabochons of approximately 18 to 25mm each, their surfaces carved with sunburst and floral patterns that catch the light in the distinctive, non-reflective way of hand-carved stone, entirely different from the flash of faceted gems. Each polki stone is individually framed in a border of round yellow CZ micro-pavé, the warm yellow of the pavé harmonizing with the antique gold setting to create a composition of warm, regal color.
