Two wide bangles of entirely different surface treatments — one a honeycomb filigree openwork of antique gold with ruby CZ bezels, the other a triple-row white CZ pavé with matching ruby CZ accents — designed to be worn together as a complementary pair of maximum visual complexity.
The first bangle is a wide rigid construction of approximately 18 to 20mm in matte antique gold honeycomb filigree openwork: a repeating body of hexagonal/honeycomb gold cells that allow light through the bangle body in an intricate, architectural pattern. At intervals across the bangle face, large emerald/cushion-cut ruby red CZ stones of approximately 10 by 8mm blaze in square gold bezels, each bezel surrounded by a border of emerald green CZ micro-pavé that frames the ruby stone in a jewel-toned combination of deep red and rich green — a color pairing of maximum Mughal opulence. The upper and lower edges of both bangles carry serrated/crenellated gold granulation borders that add a traditional South Indian temple-gold texture of extraordinary authenticity.
